I borrowed my Mother-in-law's Nikon D100 Camera, and did some research on it.  I found out I should upgrade the firmware from v1.01 to v2.0, but found out you have to send it in to service to get it done Yell

Since I didn't want to send it in to service, I searched high and low and could not find it anywhere.  I ran across this forum which had a bunch of people being requesting to have the firmware sent to them.  After sending a few emails I got someone to send it my way and I am attaching to this blog so others can download.  In the zip file is the addendum to the manual as well.

One of the users on that forum sent me the firmware. I didn't have any issues when upgrading the firmware and I am now using a 2GB SD card. It worked like a champ.

Hi Rob, this is great! I have been looking all over for the version 2.0 upgrade. Now for technically challenged folks like me, how do you make it work?
Thanks!

Hi Royce,

Just take a look at the 'Instructions-for-Upgrade.jpg' file inside the zip, it tells you exactly how to do it. Pretty straight forward.
